Doc Rotten has been a horror fan all his life ever since catching all the Universal Horror films on late night television as a child. A huge fan of monsters, giant creatures, ghosts, slashers and more, Doc Rotten began writing reviews over four years ago for his blog and then DocRotten.com. In the summer of 2010, he began writing theatrical reviews for Widescreen Warrior and DVD reviews (and later Theatrical Reviews) for HorrorNews.Net.

Since then, Doc has become a podcaster, producing the Official HorrorNews.Net Podcast and Shock Treatment: The American Horror Story Fan Podcast. Doc is also the host of the Monster Movie Podcast found right here on DocRotten.com and can be found on twitter at http://twitter.com/doc_rotten and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/DoctorRotten.

Doc is a big fan of 3D, Haunted House films and Cinema Verite or Found-Footage films. Some of his favorite films are Jaws, The Car, Hammer Films and the Universal Monsters. Any film released in the 70’s has a special place. Recent films that have caught the Doc’s eye are Cloverfield, Dead Snow, Paranormal Activity, Insidious, The Conjuring, You’re Next and Rare Exports.
