Trailer: John Dies at the End (2012)

Cult director Don (Phantasm, Bubba Ho-Tep) Coscarelli returns with his latest opus, John Dies at the End. The film is a head-trip adaptation of David (Jason Pargin) Wong’s comedic horror novel of the same name published in 2007.  Coscarelli adapts the novel about a drug called “Soy Sauce” that produces out-of-the-body experiences with every hit and what happens when friends John (Rob Mayes) and Dave (Chase Williamson) stumble upon its effects.

Along with Mayes and Williamson, John Dies at the End also features Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Doug Jones and Coscarelli regular Angus Scrimm. The film features mind bending visual and audible effects, creating a twisted vision of the drug’s effects on the cast, including (seen in the trailer) a bizarre and goofy-but-frightening meat-monster.

The film promises a unique film experience only Don Coscarelli can provide. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
